City Council met in special session on July 19, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
Mayor Lester presided:
City employees present were Public Works Director McFrederick, Clerk Kennedy, Public Works Maintenance Supervisor Mager and Chief Drew.
BUDGET: Kennedy reviewed all the revenues for the funds and then the Council decided how to split the revenue sharing and how much should come out of investments to balance the budget.
The Council agreed since Paul Orgish is topped out on the pay scale, he will get a 3% COLA.
Discussion occurred on the proposed bandshell and what requirements would fall under the committee building it. The Council felt the following were the responsibility of the committee to pay for:
• Driveway to the new bandshell
• Tear down and remove current building, including the concrete
• All ADA work – sidewalks, pad out front and anything else required for the bandshell
