Get Involved at GCL
We are always happy to welcome volunteers to our team! Grangeville library offers a number of programs and services to our community, but we couldn’t do it without the help of our volunteers.
- Summer Reading program. This program starts in June, and runs six weeks. Volunteers will be helping set up for summer reading activities, assist in running the program, and help out with clean up. Teen volunteers are welcome, too! Experience in working with children is preferred. Call us at (208) 983-0951 for more information.
- Desserts for kick-off party in June. The library will be selling desserts at the Summer Reading kick-off party on Sunday, June 18th. We need desserts to sell, help us out by donating a yummy dessert to add to the bake sale!
Join Friends of the Centennial Library
Friends of Centennial Library (FOCL) is looking for new members! Being a member of FOCL includes attending monthly meetings, fundraising, and creating programs that involve library patrons and community members, and supporting the library through donations. We also need board members who will be leading meetings, taking notes, and managing the FOCL budget. Library experience is not required, we simply need volunteers who want to be involved in their library and community.
Don’t have time to volunteer? You can still be involved in supporting the library. There are a number of ways to donate!
Donate through Love Our Library. All the money donated to this program goes to getting new, award winning books for the Grangeville Library.
Shop with Amazon Smile. For every dollar you spend you spend shopping with Amazon Smile, Amazon will donate a portion to Grangeville Library! These donations will go toward buying books and DVD’s for your library.
