October 21, 2019 Regular Meeting

City Council met in regular session on October 21, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.

Amy Farris

City employees present were Attorney Green and City Administrator Kennedy. Public Works Director Mager and Chief Drew absent.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

VISITORS: Kaylee Page, queen of Grangeville Border Days Royalty, was present to invite the Council to attend the Lighted Christmas Parade on November 30th at 5:00 pm. The theme is “Rocking into a Winter Wonderland”.

MINUTES: The meeting was called to order and the Council minutes of September 26th and October 7th were approved as presented by Councilor Peterson, second by Councilor Grant. Motion carried by a unanimous vote of the Council present.

POLICE AND ANIMAL CONTROL REPORT: The department had 120 calls for service, 29 cases written, 30 citations, and 0 written warnings for August 2019. Three dogs were all returned to their owner.

BILLS: The bills, in the amount of $378,669.17 were approved and ordered paid out of their respective funds, on motion by Councilor Peterson, second by Councilor Winkler. Motion carried by a unanimous vote of the Council present.

BEER AND WINE TRANSFER: On motion by Councilor Winkler, second by Councilor Peterson to approve the transfer of the beer and wine license from Par Hawaii Inc. d/b/a Cenex Zip Trip to Par Hawaii, LLC d/b/a Cenex Zip Trip. Motion carried by a unanimous vote of the Council present.

Mayor Lester reported mastication and reseeding on the Klein property was completed and invoices were included in the bills.

The meeting adjourned at 6:04 P.M.
