Training meeting Monday June 08, 2020
- Bob called the meeting to order at 19:02
- Bob suggested that we have two more meetings this month. Regular meeting on the 22nd at 1800 and another meeting to set up for Border Days on the 30th at 1800. Also, on the 30th a representative from Western SCBA will be at the station at 1930 to tell us about updates to the Scott SCBA. Our grants are coming up very soon. On the 22nd we will get the Buffalo ready for the parade.
- Bob brought up the name of Micheal Smith as someone who wants to be on the department. Bob has interviewed Micheal. With no concerns Bob ask McLane to tell his brother that he is a fireman on one year probation.
- Bob ask for discussion on moving future meetings to 1800. After discussion all members present were in favor of the change. Bob stated that from now on all training meetings will be at 1800 (6:00 PM).
- Bob ask those that were fitted for new bunkers in December to stick around to try on their new turnouts.
- Everyone else, since the trucks/engines have not been run for a while, to check all fluids in generators, saws, fans, and trucks/engines; then drive trucks/engines for a long time. He ask that in all trucks/engines that the water be dumped and refilled.
- John U said that he and Mike are going to Garden City to pick up the fireworks and for training this weekend. Meeting adjourned at 2110
