Regular meetings of the Council are held on the first and third Mondays of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 225 W. North Street. The agenda deadline is 5:00 p.m. the Friday before the Council meeting. If you would like to speak at the meeting, please contact city hall at (208) 983-2851 to get on the agenda as a visitor.

Mayor and Council Terms:
The Mayor and six Council members are all elected to serve four-year terms.
Council member elections are held every two years and are staggered so that three of the six seats are open at each election. The January following an election, the Council elects a President from among its members. The Council President serves as Mayor in his/her absence and has such other duties and responsibilities as the Council may assign from time to time by vote or by resolution.
