Current Openings:
Public Works Employee: The City of Grangeville is accepting applications for a full-time public works maintenance position with benefits (PERSI, vacation/ holiday/sick leave and medical/dental/vision). Duties include operating vehicles and equipment in a variety of maintenance, construction and utility tasks. Experience operating equipment, carpentry and concrete skills and water distribution and sewer collection license preferred. The position will be expected to participate in call-outs and weekend duty rotation with a 30-minute response time. Applicant must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED Equivalent. Snowhaven Seasonal Employees: The City of Grangeville is accepting applications for Snowhaven Ski & Tubing Area seasonal positions in the kitchen, rental shop, ski school (ski and snowboard instructors) and on the T-bar and Tubing Hill lifts for the 2025-26 ski season. Lift operators must be a minimum of 18 years old. These seasonal positions work weekends, federal holidays and school breaks. Depending on the snow levels, Snowhaven will open for Christmas break (Tentatively December 20) and operate through mid-March. Snowhaven Ski & Tubing Hill is located 7 miles from Grangeville and operates on weekends, holidays and school breaks only during the winter season.
