Training meeting Monday Feb 26, 2024
Meeting called to order 1805
• 13 members in attendance
• Minutes read and approved.
• Brian introduced new members: Ryne Lothrupp, Earl Robertson
• Brian gave a bird’s eye view of IFG (Idaho Forest Group) with a map on the TV, he informed us of IFGs SOP and our SOP. GFD has maps and a three ring binder of maps and info of IFG
• Discussion for responding to IFG in future and discussion staging, hydrant location and overhead concerns and secondary exposure.
• Final update on Fireman’s Ball.
• When driving any engine/trucks always check to make sure they have water, foam and fuel before returning to the station.
• Training was fire apparatus familiarization
• Truck #4 will be used to respond to vehicle wrecks as mutual aid to assist Syringa ambulance within our district.
• Fire school will be March 15-17 in Orofino
