o Fire Prevention – October
o Extrication meetings will become more frequent
o 9-11 1st responder event at GEMS attended, thank you notes were given
• AAR Crimson Ridge Fire
• Chimney fire season is coming up
o Remember to minimize number of personnel in residences
o SOP for chimney fires
• Hot weather temps are not done yet
o Still can have more grass fires
o Oct 20th burn permit still required
• Dismissed at 1909 for Training Video with discussion
o Situational awareness on scene
o Preplan to minimize hazard zones
o Looking into having something standardized to take notes for tours leading into preattack notes
o Be sure not to become complacent on thought to be false alarms
