Grangeville Centennial Library Board Meeting
City Council Chambers-225 W North St.
January 15, 2026 – 5:00 p.m.
Meeting was called to order by Nancy Moser at 5:01 PM. Those present: Betty Nafziger, Sandra Aiken, Gina Sobrero, Heidi Brown. Absent: Brennan Wright, Bridget Arnzen and Dylan Canaday
Minutes: Betty moved and Sandra seconded to approve the board minutes from the last meeting held on September 18, 2025. Motion passed.
Budget Report: Heidi shared the budget report
Library Report: Gina reported the library had a Christmas craft day where kids could come in and work on a project. She and Heidi have been planning Summer Reading. The theme is for this year is Unearth a Story.
Old Business
New Business:
1. Discuss and approve the Sandra Aiken to serve a 5 yr. Board Term. Nancy made a motion to recommend Sandra Aiken to serve a 5 yr. term running from 1/1/26-12/31-30 and Betty seconded Motion passed.
2. Election of Officers: Recommended officers for 2026 were presented: Sandra made a motion for Nancy stay as president and Betty seconded. Motion passed. Nancy made a motion for Betty become Vice President and Sandra seconded. Motion passed. Nancy made a motion for Sandra to become Secretary and Betty seconded. Motion passed.
Meeting was adjourned at 5:09 PM.
