• 11 members in attendance

• Equipment Update
o Rural 2 left hood wobble light is out and needs fixed
o Pump seal on City 1 needs attention
o At the end of the meeting, we’ll check fluids in all trucks

• Old Business

• New Business
o 4th of July donation postcards were late to get sent out, but they should be in the mail to get delivered this week
o Firework racks have been built and Cody and Micheal are working on writing the code for the show.
o Fish and fish bowls are also ordered for the fish pond

• After Action Report
o Idaho Forest Group Forklift Fire
 For all fires at IFG check in at the security shack and have a security employee escort you to the fire.
 When on IFG property they are the Incident Command for the fires, we work through them.
 When clearing scene confirm with IFG Incident Command that you are good to leave and then correspond to dispatch that IFG personnel released us from the scene.
 On vehicle/ equipment secure the equipment upon arrival so it doesn’t create more hazards, example: chock the wheels to keep the vehicle/ equipment from moving on us.
o Stillwater Rd Medical
 A farmer’s fingers got entangled in a sickle mover
 Stillwater Rd is plotted on Google Maps as a through road, but the road is blocked on the Lukes Gulch Rd side with a pile of gravel.
 Brian is going to get in contact with the Rural Fire Commissioners and County Commissioners and have the road renamed or have the road reopened so it is a through road.
o Log Truck at Pearson’s Shop
 On all scenes make sure you are always practicing good situational awareness and be on the lookout for all potential hazards.
 Good scene securement is essential also. Chocking the tires was good to prevent any movement of the truck.
o White Bird Grade Pickup Camper Fire
 When mile markers are announced over the radio a good way to determine where on HWY 95 it is, is to remember you go UP North in mile markers and DOWN South. Early Bird is at Mile marker 240.
 We were out of district a little under a mile past Lake Rd going south bound on 95.
 Roll City 1 on camper fires as it has the piercing nozzle and it foams better than Rural 4.
 When leaving district be aware of the personnel and resources you are taking so in the event we have another call everything won’t be out of district.
 On vehicle fires remember the fire blanket so we can utilize it if possible.
