City Council met in regular session on February 2, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.

MINUTES: The meeting was called to order and the Council minutes of January 20th were approved as presented by Councilor Canaday, second by Councilor Perry. Motion carried by a unanimous vote of the Council present.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: The following committee reports were presented.
• PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES: On motion by Councilor Canaday, second by Councilor Perry to accept the P&Z Minutes of January 27, 2026. Motion carried by a unanimous vote of the Council present.
Decision on the conditional use application submitted by Derith Ketternburg, 815 N Mill Street to have an upholstery business in her home. On motion by Councilor Canaday, second by Councilor Perry to approve the conditional use application for Derith Kettenburg, 815 N Mill Street to have an upholstery business in her home. ROLL CALL VOTE: YES: Farris, Andrews, Canaday, Edwards, Forsmann, Perry. NO: none. ABSTAIN: none. The motion passed.
POLICE VEHICLES LEASE: City Administrator Kennedy explained TheBancorp was provided the original 2025 vehicle quote instead of the 2026 vehicle quote. The updated lease includes the accurate amount. On motion by Councilor Farris, second by Councilor Perry to approve the revised lease with TheBancorp for the lease to own police vehicle. ROLL CALL VOTE: YES: Farris, Andrews, Canaday, Edwards, Forsmann, Perry. NO: none. ABSTAIN: none. The motion passed.
CATERING PERMIT: On motion by Councilor Perry, second by Councilor Farris to approve the catering permit for Grangeville Country Club to cater Chocolate Fantasy on March 21, 2026 from 4pm – 11:30 pm at Sts. Peter and Paul, 330 S B Street. ROLL CALL VOTE: YES: Farris, Andrews, Canaday, Edwards, Forsmann, Perry. NO: none. ABSTAIN: none. The motion passed.
ITEMS TO NOTE: City Administrator Kennedy stated the Snowhaven meeting with Morris Arnzen and Rhonda Wemhoff is tomorrow afternoon in Cottonwood.
