o City 1
Tank level gauge needs to be repaired
• After the business meeting we’ll try and fix it
• A sight tube was suggested as a backup to the gauge

o Kristen Jenson is doing a banquet and would like a fire truck present, either April 18th or the 25th from 12-2. Dean would like a couple people to help him with that
o Brian informed everyone that the courthouse is going to be doing a fire drill in 6-7 weeks from now
o Jarred spoke on the new county jail saying it is getting close to completion. Before they open it we will do a walkthrough of the building on one of our training nights.

o Syringa Hospital
The fire was paged as an active fire because they were scheduled to have a fire drill just before they had the actual fire
Brian commended everyone on knowing their jobs and doing everything without having to be told what to do next
There are access cards in City 1,2, and 3 for getting past locked doors. Brian suggested putting the card in your glove for ease of use
Electric fans for occupied building like hospitals were discussed
Engine placement at Syringa was also discussed, we need to make sure we are not stacking engines and are strategically placing them on all fires
Cause of the fire was an improper LED bulb in the ballast
o Suspicious
It was a lift assist for a patient in a RV
o North A and 2nd Street
The reported fire could not be found
If you can’t locate it ask dispatch to contact the RP
o Seaver Fire
Be thorough on your investigations and use you TIC if you have too
On potential fires everyone should be prepared and ready
o Fairview Dumpster Fire
It was your standard dumpster fire.
• Training
o We watched a video on the basics of fire science and what chemical reactions happen when a fire starts
o Graydon mentioned there will be also be additional training assignments to come on Fire Rescue 1
