Grangeville Centennial Library Board Meeting
Mayor’s Conference Room-215 W North St.
January 19, 2023 – 5:00 p.m.
Meeting was called to order by Brennan Wright at 5:03 PM. Those present: Brennan Wright, Betty Nafziger, Stacy Stone, Nancy Moser, and Gina Sobrero. Absent: Bridget Arnzen, Heidi Brown and Dylan Canaday.
Minutes: Betty moved and Nancy seconded to approve the board minutes from the last meeting held on November 17, 2022. Motion passed.
Budget Report: Gina shared the current budget report.
Library Report: Gina reported. Story time themes award winning books, shoes, love, and animal sounds. My first book on 2/2/23 book is Superhero ABC. LTAI book discussion for The Distance Between us had 11 in attendance and the next book will be Lady in Waiting on 2/21/23. Kim Madsen Dill will be the scholar for the discussion. The library received the Summer Reading Support grant for $2000.00 and Terri Tackett with Grangeville Elks Lodge wrote a Gratitude Grant for $2,500.00 towards library material. Summer Reading planning has started. The theme is All Together now!
Old Business
1. Trustee Manual. All board members present agreed to look over the Trustee Manual before the next meeting.
New Business
1. Election of board officers. Brennan Wright was elected President. Betty moved, Nancy seconded, motion passed. Bridget Arnzen was elected Vice President. Nancy moved, Betty seconded, motion passed. Betty Nafziger was elected Secretary. Nancy moved, Stacy seconded. Motion passed.
