Grangeville Centennial Library Board Meeting
Council Chambers – 225 W North St.
July 18, 2024 – 5:00 p.m.
Meeting was called to order by Nancy Moser at 5:00 PM. Those present: Bridget Arnzen, Betty Nafziger, Dylan Canaday, Heidi Brown and Gina Sobrero. Via Phone: Brennan Wright
Visitors:
Minutes: Betty moved and Brennan seconded to approve the board minutes from the last meeting held on June 13, 2024. Motion passed
Budget Report: Heidi shared the current budget report
Library Report: Gina reported that 36 vendors signed up for Art In the Park and the library book sale brought in $975.00. Summer Reading had 220 children sign up. The library did not receive Let’s Talk About It.
Old Business:
New Business
1. Discuss and recommend a replacement board member to serve the remainder of Stacy Stone’s term, with term expiring 12/31/25. Gina and Heidi recommended Sandra Aiken to the board and Stacy Stone called in to recommend Fred Stevens. Gina and Heidi talked about how Sandra had worked for the library for over 7 years and was an avid reader. Betty made a motion to recommend Sandra Aiken to serve the remainder of Stacy Stone’s term, with term expiring 12/31/25, Brennan seconded. Motion passed.
