City Council met in special session on July 18, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.

City employees present were City Administrator Kennedy.
AUTHORIZATION TO BID ON A USED BRUSH TRUCK: City Administrator Kennedy stated Chief Perry would like authorization to bid on a used brush truck up to $12,500. Currently the city has not spent any of the $20,000 budgeted for nuisance properties, so there are funds available in general fund. On motion by Councilor Grant, second by Councilor Canaday to authorize Chief Perry to bid on a used brush truck up to $12,500 from surplus.com. ROLL CALL VOTE: YES: Canaday, Farris, Grant, Perry, Andrews. NO: none. ABSTAIN: none. The motion passed.
