Training meeting Monday October 14, 2024
Meeting called to order 1805
• 12 members in attendance
• Minutes read and approved
• Reminder to drive safely to scene and have your vehicle prepped for the colder weather.
• The burn ban has been extended past October 20th until future notice.
• Reminder discussion on communicating on if not available for calls. If there is a double page, we need an all-hands-on deck.
• DO NOT call Chief’s cell phone after a page, if in doubt use a radio. They are already dealing with a lot, logistics, police, property owner, etc.
• The back entry to the station is blocked The Trails is updating their parking lot entries.
• Trunk or Treat is at the Courthouse October 31st from 4:00-6:00
• Discussion on Firemen Ball
• Fire safety this week at GEMS and the station, preschool thru 3rd grade.
• Business meeting adjourned 1840
• Firemen drove trucks and engines and trucks for 45 minutes. Rookies practiced putting of PPE, (turnouts).
