Grangeville Centennial Library Board Meeting
Mayor’s Conference Room-215 W North St.
March 18, 2021- 5:00 p.m.
Meeting was called to order by Meleah at 4:58 PM. Those present: Meleah McCulley, Carmen Sangster, Betty Nafziger, Susan Anderson, Gina Sobrero, and Dylan Canaday. Absent: Brennan Wright.
Minutes: Motion was made by Betty to approve the January 21, 2021 Board minutes, seconded by Carmen. Motion passed.
Budget Report: Gina shared the January Revenue and February expenditure reports. Expenditures are at 36% of budget five months into the fiscal year.
Library Report: Gina shared that Art in the Park is getting started. It will be July 2nd and 3rd. The Art Contest ends today. Gina said they have applied for the Earth Day grant and have finished classes for the Make-It mini grant so those funds will be coming. They have received a $500 STEM grant. Plans are underway for the summer reading program and will be applying for the My First Books grant in cooperation with the school district.
Old Business
1. Strategic Planning: Set Vision Statement, Mission Statement, Primary/Secondary Roles
a. The vision statement adopted last meeting was reviewed and the Mission statement was discussed. No action was taken at this time.
2. Updating Constitution and By-Laws
a. The Constitution and By-Laws will be discussed at the next meeting.
